Flooring Replacement

When our team at Handyman Rescue Team got the call for a full-scale flooring replacement project in Bothell, we knew this was going to be one of those jobs that would truly transform a home—and we were ready to roll (literally, with flooring!).

Step 1: Demo Day!

With sledgehammers in hand (and a little spring in our step), we removed every inch of the old hardwood, carpet, and even a cabinet in the living room. There’s something deeply satisfying about a good demolition, and let’s just say, this floor was begging for a fresh start.

Step 2: Baseboard Balancing Act

Removing and resetting baseboards might not sound glamorous, but trust us, it’s the unsung hero of a clean and polished flooring project. After ensuring they were snugly in place, we gave them a fresh coat of paint that perfectly framed the new floors to come.

Step 3: Stairs That Shine

Building and installing new stairs? Challenge accepted! We crafted a staircase worthy of a grand entrance, adding function and flair to our client's home.

Step 4: LVP Magic

Then came the star of the show: 2,460 square feet of gorgeous luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring. Durable, stylish, and ready to handle anything life throws at it (including the occasional dropped mug). We laid each plank with precision, transforming every room into a masterpiece of modern design.

Step 5: Closet Glow-Up

Not one to leave any stone—or closet—unturned, we installed LVP and new baseboards in the master bedroom closet, ensuring even the tucked-away corners of this home looked flawless.
